How is our price so low and our quality so high?
    Our cost is so low because we purchase raw materials in bulk and produce
    large volume. There is no middle man between us and the dentist. We try to
    save every penny so that the saving is returned to you. Help us save on our
    cost so that we can maintain our low price. We need your cooperation:
    • Combine shipments
    • If possible give us an extra day so we can combine shipments
    • Check your impression – make sure you have a very clear line of margin.
    Without this margin line, the computer scanner does not recognize the
    margin.

1. TURN AROUND TIME
• 8 working days in lab
• Not including 2nd day air shipping
• If possible, give an extra day when scheduling your patients. This will enable us to combine shipments to maintain
our low costs.


2. PAYMENT INFORMATION

We accept the following methods of payments: Check, Bank Check, Money Order, and Wire Transfer. We do not
accept credit cards or any other methods not mentioned above. Include a payment when you send your package to us. Email us for wire transfer instructions. In case of returned check, there will be a $50 financial charge.

3. SHIPPING

• Package well to protect your model. Impression or other non-breakable material need not be bubble wrapped, but stone or other breakable items needs to be bubble wrapped to protect them during shipment.

    • You may print our lab slips by clicking labslip. Use any boxes to send your first case to us. When we send you
       the first case back to you, we will provide you pre-printed 2nd Day Air labels, lab slips, and shipping boxes
    • We encourage to use one box when you send multiple cases to save some shipping costs. Separate the
       impressions in plastic bags and staple the prescription to the outside of each bag for accurate identification.
    • Printable Lab Slip in pdf format
    • Shade: We have most common shades in our lab. If you’re sending your own shade tab, tape shade tab on the lab       slip. For custom shade, send pictures or email electronic pictures to contact@identallab.com.


4. CHECKLIST
Before you send the case to us:

1. Use double cord technique when taking an impression.
2. At least 1.5 mm reduction.
3. For a 2-unit or more posterior case, take full arch impression or bite registration for correct mounting.
4. Dry out prepped teeth before taking an impression, especially clean out bleeding.
5. Bite a little longer to set and press down all the way.
6. Check impression for void, distortion, etc. If you think the margin is not visible, first pour it up and check before you     send it.
7. Alginate impression must be poured up before sending.
8. Impression must be disinfected.
9. Write down the due date and appointment date/time. We typically need 8 working days in lab for most restorations,     excluding holiday and shipping/receiving days.
10. Take the time to write your instructions on the lab slip. Please PRINT legibly. We are not responsible if we can’t
     read your instructions.
11. Implant and attachment must include all components.
12. Shade information.
13. Opposing model.
14. Study model for all anterior work.

The case will be placed on hold if any of the above information is missing.

NOTE: We use most implant and attachment systems. You must send us all components, including analog and abutment. We do not keep or order any components. Do not send case and components separately. Any case that has missing components will be returned. When there isn’t enough occlusal clearance, and if there is no other instruction, we reduce opposing or make reduction coping for you to use. We simply mark the die in red color. Check the die before you place the crown.

5. REQUIREMENTS (Prep Guide):
• Conventional champfer margin
• The margin should be clearly visible (all the way around).
• No sharp edges and undercut.
• At least 1.5 mm occlusal clearance.

7. SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
iDental Lab partners with UPS to ensure on time delivery with each and every case.
Contact us at 1-310-858-2900 and we will send everything you need to get started.
Call UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS (800-742-5877) to schedule a pick up.  Make sure to call one day earlier or first thing in the morning if your case will be ready by afternoon.  This ensures minimum time lost.  Make sure to give us enough days to fabricate your case. 

 

8. PACKAGING
Multiple cases may be sent in one box. Separate the impressions in a plastic bag and attach the prescription to the outside of each bag for accurate identification.  Use a permanent marker such as Sharpie to identify impression by the last name of the patient.  

Tape the box securely to ensure nothing is lost.  Attach air-bill on top of box and schedule your pick-up by calling first thing in the morning. We strongly recommend that you track each shipment to ensure that we received your shipment in a timely fashion.
