The Art of Aesthetics Inc. is a cosmetic dental laboratory that fabricates dental restorations for licensed dentists and dental professionals. The laboratory does not provide dental care, dental treatment, medical advice, diagnosis, or any dental health services to the public.
All information provided on this website is intended for informational, educational, and marketing purposes only. The content should not be interpreted as professional dental advice. Applicability
These Terms of Use and Terms & Conditions apply to all websites owned, operated, or managed by The Art of Aesthetics Inc.
Use of any website operated by The Art of Aesthetics Inc., including any related domains, marketing websites, or future websites operated by the company, constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Clinical Responsibility of the Prescribing Dentist
The prescribing dentist retains full responsibility for patient diagnosis, treatment planning, tooth preparation, impression accuracy, bite registration, shade selection, and final placement of all dental restorations.
The Art of Aesthetics Inc. functions solely as a dental laboratory fabricating devices based on the instructions provided by the prescribing dentist. The laboratory does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, or provide clinical services.
All clinical outcomes remain the responsibility of the prescribing dentist, including evaluation of fit, occlusion, aesthetics, and suitability of the restoration for the patient.
Case Prescription Responsibility
The prescribing dentist is solely responsible for providing complete, accurate, and unambiguous instructions with every case submitted to the laboratory.
All case prescriptions must include clear written directions regarding materials, design specifications, shade selection, occlusion, margins, and any other clinical considerations necessary for proper fabrication.
The laboratory fabricates restorations strictly according to the instructions provided. The Art of Aesthetics Inc. will not assume treatment preferences, material selections, design parameters, or clinical decisions that were not explicitly requested by the prescribing dentist.
Failure to provide adequate information, models, impressions, digital files, photographs, or supporting records may result in delays, additional charges, or fabrication according to the limited information available.
HIPAA & Patient Information Handling
The prescribing dentist is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA, when transmitting patient information to the laboratory.
Patient identifiers should be minimized whenever possible. The Art of Aesthetics Inc. treats all patient information, photographs, digital scans, and records as confidential and uses such information solely for the purpose of fabricating dental restorations and communicating with the prescribing dentist.
Shipping & Case Handling
The Art of Aesthetics Inc. is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by shipping carriers or courier services.
Dentists are responsible for properly packaging impressions, models, and appliances to prevent damage during transit. The laboratory recommends using trackable shipping methods.
If a case or restoration is lost or damaged during shipment, the laboratory will assist with resolution when possible; however, the laboratory is not liable for shipping carrier errors, delays, or losses beyond its control.
Remake Policy
All remakes will be provided at no charge except under certain circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Case materials deemed unsuitable but the dentist instructs the laboratory to proceed.
• Clarification regarding margins or impressions was requested but the dentist instructs the laboratory to proceed.
• Die or master model altered before submission.
• Metal try-in approved and returned for completion.
• Restoration seated by a different dentist.
• Pontic sites not properly healed before impression.
• Adjustments required due to insufficient clearance or preparation issues.
• Shade or material changes after fabrication begins.
• Remake requests made more than thirty (30) days after invoice date.
Laboratory Warranty
The Art of Aesthetics Inc. warrants that restorations will be fabricated according to the specifications provided by the prescribing dentist.
The laboratory will repair or replace any product that fails due to defects in materials or workmanship within one (1) year from the invoice date.
Orthodontic appliances are warranted for ninety (90) days from the invoice date.
Payment Policy
Payment is due upon receipt of products or services or according to the monthly statement.
Past-due balances may incur interest at a rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.
Accounts more than thirty (30) days past due may require deposits for future cases or suspension of services until balances are resolved.
Refund Policy
Dental restorations are custom fabricated medical devices and therefore are not refundable.
Implant components or parts may only be refunded if they can be returned to the manufacturer or supplier for credit.
Limitation of Liability
The Art of Aesthetics Inc. provides laboratory fabrication services based solely on the instructions and materials supplied by the prescribing dentist.
Under no circumstances shall The Art of Aesthetics Inc. be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to dental restorations fabricated by the laboratory.
The maximum liability of The Art of Aesthetics Inc., if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific laboratory service or device in question.
Indemnification
The prescribing dentist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Art of Aesthetics Inc., its employees, technicians, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of the clinical use of any dental device fabricated by the laboratory.
